On Monday our support staff were overwhelmed by the gesture of our Community Council and school community in celebrating the work that they do with a catered lunch, group card completed by our families and individual cards written by members of the council. Thank you to our Community Council for coordinating this important recognition, particularly to Jo Gale for purchasing and ordering the lunch and to Michael Kelly for attending the event with Jo.
Here are our reminders for the week:
- Athletics Carnival Tuesday 27 May - We are still looking for volunteers for this event at Merici. Please complete the form in Compass or contact Skye McPadden if you are available.
- 2026 Enrolment Period Ending - Enrolment period is about to end. Siblings in Kindergarten for 2026 will need to be enrolled by the end of next week.
- Families Leaving in 2026 - Our healthy enrolments mean that we will have a waiting list for 2026, it is therefore imperative that you notify the school if you are moving on from St Thomas More's at the end of the year. Please let Angela or Bibi know if you will not be returning in 2026.
- Toys and Fidgets at School - Children are not permitted to bring toys or fidgets to school without permission from the teachers. Fidgets are used for students on Personalised Plans.
