Dear Parents and Carers,
Well, here we go again! Thank you to everyone for all your support during this lockdown. This particular time around is very concerning due to the seriousness of this COVID variant and also the fact that it’s now in schools. As you would probably know, two of our Catholic schools have been affected and the impact is far-reaching. We will continue to follow the restrictions placed on us. The staff numbers on site have been dramatically reduced in an attempt to keep them and their families as safe as possible.
The students have showed acceptance and resilience during this time. They are really trying their very best and that is all we ask of them at this time. I am continually impressed with the effort and the degree to which they are undertaking their schoolwork.
Thank you for everything you are doing to ensure your children are checking in online and completing their work. We understand that things will not be perfect and that the work submitted may reflect as much as your child can manage at this time. The teachers are very aware that for many of you, you have work expectations too! Just do what you can do – we understand.
The staff have been working so hard behind the scenes to ensure the students have meaningful tasks to complete, as well as some practical tasks that ensure their wellbeing remains positive. I thank them for all their work and their ongoing commitment to the students in their care.
Due to the presence of the virus in schools, we are now asking parents coming to the school to please come to the front door, do not enter the premises. Call us when you arrive on 6249 8869. Thank you for your cooperation.
Please reach out if you require our assistance or support during this lockdown.
