Tell Them From Me (TTFM) Parent Survey
We have had 6 parents complete the Tell Them From Me survey since it opened last week. This represents 5% of our families. In order to have accurate data, we require further responses from our families.
The survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. You can access the parent survey on your computer or mobile device here:

National Simultaneous Storytime 2022
Thank you to Ms. Mikkonen and the teachers for engaging the children in National Simultaneous Storytime last week. The children were able to head to the warmth of the library and eat their recess while listening to the story Family Tree. We will continue this initiative with the Winter Warmer Reads in the library over the coming weeks.
Catholic Education Tasmania Visit
On Wednesday we welcomed Gerard Gaskin - Director of Catholic Education Tasmania and Anita Cunningham - Director of Teaching and Learning Catholic Education Tasmania to our school. We were able to showcase the High Quality Teacher and Learning taking place in classrooms, particularly through the Catalyst Initiative and our focus on High Impact Teaching Practices. The group spent time observing Daily Review Lessons in Year 1 and 3/4. They were all so impressed by Mrs Neiufi, Miss Temple and Miss McQuirk and the exemplary practice they observed. Gerard and Anita have already expressed the desire to return with delegates from Tasmania to learn from our school. We are so proud of our teachers and students for being recognised as a school leading the way in contemporary practices in education.
Cookies for Ronald Mcdonald House
Last week the Bransdon household was a hive of activity as Riley (5/6W) baked cookies to sell at school and raise money for Ronald McDonald House. We are so lucky to have a school captain who is so dedicated to supporting those in need. Her efforts have resulted in $300 going towards those families requiring support from Ronald McDonald House.
Hats off - June and July
In line with SunSmart practices, we have now moved into our hats off time of year. Students will not be required to wear hats in June and July so that they can maintain adequate vitamin D levels.
