St Thomas More's Feast Day
We had the most amazing day today celebrating the feast day of St Thomas More. Unfortunately, the Team Kids coffee van broke down en route to the school but that didn't dampen our spirits!
A real highlight was walking around the courtyard and oval during our picnic and see families enjoying the winter sun together before heading over to contribute to our mural.
Thank you to Mrs Mance, Fr. Emil, Team Kids, Bohie and all the staff for making this such a memorable and rewarding celebration!
Pupil Free Day and Affirmations
The second of our Pupil Free Days will be next Friday 1 July. We will therefore hand out affirmations on Thursday 30 June at the morning gathering.
Tell Them From Me (TTFM) Parent Survey
Thank you to the 58 families who responded to the parent survey. This represents over 50% of families and will provide an authentic data set to celebrate our successes and identify improvements for moving forward.
Parent Teacher Interviews and Semester One Reports
Parent Teacher interviews were a great success this week. Thank you to those parents who were able to schedule time with their children's teachers. We have received feedback that the 3:00 pm session was difficult for both parents and staff and will therefore make adjustments to future timetabling.
Semester One Reports will be released in Compass on Friday afternoon. A notification will be sent out when they are available.

Sacrament of First Holy Communion
As a staff we were delighted to join a number of families as their children celebrated their First Holy Communion on Sunday. It is always an honour to support our students as they develop their faith. Thank you to Father Emil and everyone involved in their preparation.
St Thomas More’s Feast Day
Today the school community participated in our St Thomas More Feast Day Celebrations. Our day began with our first whole school Mass. The children participated reverently. Thank you Father Emil for the Mass and Miss Strmota for your beautiful singing. It was wonderful to be able to gather as a school. The children all received a donut treat at recess. During the middle session they participated in multi age rotational activities. Thank you to all who were able to join us for our picnic lunch on the oval. The highlight of our day was contributing to our whole school mural which has been designed to reflect our school values of wisdom, courage, and peace. Make sure you view the mural in the courtyard near the library next time you visit the school.
