Mother's Day and Cross Country
Our Mother's Day Breakfast and Cross Country Carnival were two exciting events held on Friday morning last week. We are so appreciative to Kath and Madelaine who coordinated Mother's Day with their team of volunteers from 3/4G and Year 1.
We would like to congratulate all the students who participated in the Cross Country Carnival. It was a great success through the organisation of our Kinder and Year 1 teachers and all the parents who were able to volunteer. We are proud of the effort and sportsmanship displayed by all students and are pleased to say that every child in the school participated in the event. Thank you also to Claire Dekuyer for her preparation of the students during the PE lessons.
Car Park Safety
We would like to remind parents and carers not to park on the nature strip outside the top carpark. This is for the safety of our students and other road users. For those pedestrians crossing to access the streets on the other side of White Cres, we would suggest walking down to the school crossing. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring the safety of our students.
Finance Transformation - School Fees
On June 1 we will be rolling over to a new finance system as part of the Catholic Education Finance Transformation. As a result, the process for the collection of school fees will change. To ensure we achieve a seamless transition we are asking all families to ensure that their fees are paid by next Friday 26 May. We look forward to providing further information regarding this initiative as we complete training with Catholic Education.
Athletics Carnival Note
The Athletics Carnival is coming up on Wednesday 31 May, and we are excited to see our students compete in various events. Our Carnival will be held at Merici College. We will be sending out separate notes for Kindergarten to Year 2 and Year 3 to Year 6 students tomorrow, which will include information about the event, the schedule, and a volunteer opt-in form. We encourage all parents and carers to engage in this event.
Tell Them From Me (TTFM) Survey
In a few weeks, we will be sending out the Tell Them From Me (TTFM) survey for 2023. This survey is an important component of school improvement, and we urge all parents and carers to take the time to complete it. Your feedback will help us understand how we can continue to improve the educational experience for our students and give you a voice in current community initiatives, such as our recently opened canteen and fundraising targets.
