Barbecue 5
As you saw in the last term’s email, our School Community Council has developed a set of 5 points when recommending our school.
Tomorrow we will send home a set for each family, and we would appreciate you distributing them at your workplaces and to neighbors etc. to promote our wonderful community and excellence in teaching and learning. Thank you in advance.
ANZAC Day
Today as a school we commemorated ANZAC Day with a beautiful service led by our Defence School Mentor Jessie Gepp and our Parent Engagement Coordinator Ariana Stromta. We were privileged to have the Catafalque Party at our service, and we thank them for their service. We would like to thank our guests who spoke and read at the gathering as well. Further details can be found in the DSM section of the newsletter and a photo collage is also available. Additional photos will be found on our Facebook page.
Car Park
As you are aware, work on the staff car park has begun. It will not be finished for another week or so. Thank you for considering our request with the car park pick up arrangements. All went smoothly yesterday, and we will need to keep the A-L and M-Z arrangements for the time being.
School Events
We have a number of other school events coming up this term including our Mother's Day Breakfast, Cross Country and Athletics Carnivals, and School Disco. Please check the school calendar and magnet for these dates.
Mother's Day Raffle
We are accepting donations towards the raffle. Donations can be dropped into the front office. Thank you to 3/4W who will be coordinating the raffle and Mother's Day breakfast.
Nicole Mikkonen
Principal
As you may be aware, next Friday, 10th, is our Mother's Day Breakfast
hosted by 3/4W.
Each year we host a raffle at the breakfast. To help us run this, we are asking for donations from the school community to go towards raffle prizes. Please drop these items off to the front office or contact me if you have any questions.
Many thanks,
Ariana
