Finally……
Asphalt was installed in the staff carpark yesterday. We are so grateful for a safe and upgraded car park. Line marking will occur in 2 weeks. Staff will be able to use this car park from Week 9. Thank you, families, for your patience as you also waited for this area to be finished to alleviate the lack of car spaces in the Church car park.
Safety in the Church Car Park
Our School Community Council members have raised their concerns of the dangers in the car park and our school crossing.
Some of their concerns are as follows:
- Children not being escorted by adults to their cars
- Walking behind reversing cars
- Cars reversing as children are getting into cars parked next to them
- Speed- a reminder of the 10km speed signs
- Driving through the crossing while children are attempting to cross the road
See article below for the use of a school crossing.
