Kinder 2025 Orientation
Last Thursday we welcomed our 2025 Kindergarten students and their families. The children spent the morning in the Kinder classroom connecting with their peers and getting a taste of what BIG school is like. A school presentation for their parents and carers was provided in Holy Faith Hall to welcome them, tell them about the opportunities available at St Thomas More's and how we will inspire and nurture their child to grow. Thank you to Jo Gale, our Kinder parent contact for 2025 who spoke and welcomed the families, inviting them to engage with our school community. Danielle Ridgway, our DSM presented information regarding how our Defence families are supported. Team Kids also presented information about their program and provided morning tea for families while they got to know each other.
Colour Run - Help us upgrade our bubblers!
In consultation with the students and our community council, we will be allocating the funds raised at our Colour Run to upgrading our current bubblers. It will be wonderful to have bubblers at varying heights and with the facility to fill drink bottles. We are currently sourcing sponsorship for the event and will launch the booklets next week, allowing the students two weeks to gather sponsors.
If you know of, or belong to, a business that would be interested in donating prizes or funds, please get in contact with the front office.
Confirmation
We celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation on Sunday as a Parish and School Community. Archbishop Chirstopher Prowse celebrated the Mass with Father Anthony and confirmed the candidates. We congratulate Alyssa Skinn, Luke Cowan, and Bianca Manna.

It is now time to gather together donations for our Mission Fete Stall. Each house group is being asked to donate secondhand items to a particular store.
Legacy- Toy Store
Honour- Book Store
Valour- Game & Puzzle Store
If they are unable to donate to the assigned store, students are more than welcome to donate to another House's store. We are looking forward to a fun Mission Fete on the Friday Week 6.
St Thomas More's will be celebrating Mission Month alongside our Colour Run on Friday in Week 6.
This year we are raising awareness and funds for the Caring Center in Mongolia. Vouchers for the Mission Fete are available to purchase on COMPASS for a $5 donation. This allows students to select an item for our toy store, bookstore, puzzle & games store, as well as wear their silly socks on the day and receive an ice block following the Colour Run. Please see the Mission Fete flyer for Information about donations for the stores.
