Book Week
It was a wonderful week of celebrating quality literature with Book Week 2025! The children, staff and parents were all so enthusiastic at our parade and the festivities continued with Snuggle up and Read, an author visit and our Book Swap on Friday. Thank you to Nicole Mikkonen for preparing so many events across the week!

Kindergarten had a wonderful time learning about clocks and how to tell the time. We all made our own clocks and have been practising how to tell the time to the hour using the words o'clock, on digital and analog clocks. We figured out some very important times in the daily life of kindergarten students. We know that 1st break is at 11 O'clock, 2nd Break is at 1 O'clock and home time is at 3 O'clock. Together we discussed and sorted if certain activities occur in the morning, the daytime or night time.

This term in Xplore More, Kindergarten have been learning about different celebrations that we celebrate at home, at church and at school. We also had our special 100 days of Kindergarten celebration . We shared some of our achievements and skills that we have learnt so far. In groups, we worked together to count and see what 100 looked like using different objects and items.
