Dear Parents and Carers
Hats must be worn from tomorrow. They can be purchased from the front office for $10.
We had many happy grandparents visit last Friday, enjoying looking at their grandchild’s learning and staying for morning tea. Thanks to our Year 2 parents Sharon Purcell, Narelle Snashall and Kerrin Gordon who organised and served the morning tea.

100 days at school
Congratulations to our Kindergarten students who have been at school for 100 days! What a milestone! They looked magnificent in their capes.
An annual satisfaction survey of parents, students and staff will be conducted on behalf of all Catholic schools in the Diocese this term. The surveys are designed to gather feedback from parents, staff and students about our school and will be used to inform school improvement. Responses are confidential and individuals can not be identified.
The surveys were launched via email on 29th July and will close August 9th using the email addresses supplied to the school. If you did not receive an email with a link to the survey, you can access and complete the survey at the following: https://www.research.net/r/stthomasmoresparent2019

Donations can be made weekly to inspire your reader or at the end of the 3 weeks. The read-more-a-thon will conclude at the end of book week. (Week 5)

Interschools Snowsports Competition
The 2019 Interschools was another great event, we had 3 children represent St Thomas Mores this year;
Ruby Kenny - Division 5
Cooper Kenny - Division 6
Jett van Engelen Division 6
Cooper unfortunately sustained concussion the morning of the Division 6 event and was taken to the Medic in Perisher who advised no skiing for 2 days, so he joined the cheer squad on the sideline.
Ruby raced in two events, the Alpine GS and the Skier X doing well in both events placed in the midfield out of 60 skiers. Her times improved from last year so she was very pleased with her results as are we.
Jett raced in the Alpine GS for his first time skiing two beautiful heats. He did such a good job and his smile was beaming. All skiers did such a fantastic job and I cannot be prouder of them and the efforts they put in.
We look forward to next year's event and hopefully we have some more budding skiers join our team.
