Dear Parents and Carers,
I would like to introduce you to our School Community Council for 2020:
I would like to thank the SCC for serving our community in this important capacity.
Ash Wednesday
We marked the beginning of Lent with a whole school Mass today. It was a beautiful celebration and the students were prayerful and reverent. Ash Wednesday is a very important holy day on the Church’s calendar. During the season of Lent, we ask the students to be generous in all they do and to try and do something thoughtful for a friend or family member.
Community Breakfast
Please join us for our Welcoming Community Breakfast this Friday. We will have egg and bacon rolls and croissants ready! Breakfast will be ready from 8am onwards. Special thanks to the School Community Council and Brenda Galvin for their help and organisation.
Centred in Learning Gathering
This Friday, following the community breakfast, we will affirm students for their contributions to our community, their efforts and successes. All welcome – Holy Faith Hall at 9am.
Save the Date
Mum’s Night Out – Friday April 3. More details to come.
Yours sincerely,
Julie Wiley
Principal.

Congratulations to our School Captain, Tara Holmes, 5/6 White, who participated in the 2020 Swimming NSW Country Championships over the weekend.

Online Survey
Dear Parents
Catholic Education, Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn (Catholic Education), will shortly release an online survey to better understand your opinion of the value Catholic schools like ours provide and what that means for you and your children. The findings of this research will be used by Catholic Education to improve the offering of Catholic schools.
The survey will be sent out to parents via email in the coming week and should take less than 15 minutes to complete.
Privacy and confidentiality
Please note that Catholic Education has engaged JWS Research to host the survey, collect the data and analyse the results. JWS Research is an independent, fully accredited, Australian research agency (see www.jwsresearch.com for further information). Survey results will be reported in the aggregate with individual responses remaining completely confidential and treated in accordance with the relevant privacy laws, including the Market and Social Research Privacy Principles and the industry’s code of professional behaviour.
I encourage all parents to respond to the survey.
Thank you in advance for your time and participation.
