Children's Week
Message from Jodie Griffiths-Cook, Public Advocate and Children and Young People Commissioner, ACT Human Rights Commission
To celebrate Children’s Week I have also arranged a gift for children and young people in the ACT. I have partnered with Magical Parks to create an augmented reality play space in Glebe Park. Children and young people can download a free app that opens a magical world, right in the centre of Canberra, so they can explore the outback, rescue marine creatures, walk with the dinosaurs or meet some robots. Magical Parks combines kids’ love of devices with the great outdoors, getting children and their families running and exploring in their local parks. The Magical Park play zone is on the grass, right in front of the rotunda and most smart devices can be used to explore it.
