Principal's Report
NAPLAN
This week our Years 3 and 5 students are participating in the annual NAPLAN assessments. The students were tasked with writing a narrative this morning, will complete reading and conventions of language tests on Thursday, and will engage in a numeracy assessment on Friday. Absent students will be allowed to complete a make up test next week. Thank you to Gwen Tarleton who has coordinated NAPLAN for 2024.
Grandparents Day 2024
We looking forward to welcoming Grandparents and Special Friends to our school next Friday 22 March from 8:50 am. Kindergarten will be leading a Centred in Faith Gathering connecting our relationship with our Grandparents to our preparation for Palm Sunday. We will then invite our guests into our classrooms to spend time with the children before heading to the library courtyard for morning tea hosted by our Year 2 families.
Sacrament of Reconciliation
The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be held next Saturday 23 March at 10:00 am. Our Year 2 students have been preparing for the sacrament each weekend at Mass and will participate in a Reconciliation Retreat Day next Wednesday. We warmly invite all members of our school community to gather in our church to celebrate this special occasion.
