Welcome back to Term 4! It is sure to be an exciting final term of the school year with 9 weeks and 1 day of learning. Whilst it was an incredible trip with my family around Australia over the past 6 months I was eager to return to school and engage with all of the wonderful members of our community. I am so proud of the students and staff for the continued growth our school has achieved over the past two terms and am eternally grateful to Nicole Mikkonen for taking on the role of Principal in my absence, we are so blessed to have her in our community. I would also like to thank Skye McPadden and Andrea McQuirk who thrived in their new leadership positions in my absence. 

Dance Display - Feedback Welcomed

We look forward to seeing you all from 5:45pm tonight for our annual dance display. Following feedback in 2023 we have adjusted the layout of the dance display to ensure visibility of the students is optimal. We would welcome any further feedback you may have on enhancing our dance display moving forward, particularly if there is a desire to move the display to a local high school with adequate indoor facilities as our humble Holy Faith Hall is simply not big enough to hold such an event.

Colour Run

It's that time of year again where we prepare to hold our major fundraising event, our Colour Run. The event is scheduled for Friday 22 November in line with our Mission Fete. We will be calling for sponsors in the coming weeks. If you have a business, or know of one, that would be interested in sponsoring this event please get in touch. 

Families Leaving St Thomas More's

As we begin preparations for 2025 it is important for the school to have accurate enrolment projections. We would ask you to contact the front office or myself if your family will be posting out of Canberra, moving interstate, or has made the decision to choose another school for your child in 2025.
