Sacrament of Reconciliation

Well done to the students who received the Sacrament of Reconciliation on the weekend. It was very prayerful, reflective and very community focused. 

Mobile Phones

Thank you to all families for supporting our mobile phone procedures. It’s great to see students handing in their phones when they arrive.

ANZAC Liturgy

St Thomas More's Anzac Day Liturgy will be held this Friday, April 8, commencing at 9am in the Holy Faith Hall. Parents are warmly invited to attend. Special thanks to Sonja Mingay for all the organization and behind-the-scenes work. Thank you also to Richard Keir (Lillian Yr 4) who will give a reflection at the liturgy and Shaun Nelson (Horatio Yr 6, Ivy Yr 3, Violet Yr 1) who will read the Peace Prayer. Children in years 3/4 and 5/6 choir, will be singing.

NAPLAN – for your diary

In May 2019 the National Assessment Program - Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) will be completed by students in Years 3 and 5. The tests will be conducted across Australia on the following dates:

Tuesday, 14th May - Language Conventions & Writing

Wednesday 15th May - Reading

Thursday 16th May - Numeracy

Friday 17th May - A ‘catch-up’ day is scheduled for any students who missed a test or were absent on a test day.

Catholic Schools Soccer Carnival

STM entered 2 teams to play in the carnival last Sunday. The students represented St Thomas More’s with great sportsmanship and enthusiasm. Thank you to Mrs Donna Victory for all her organisation. Thanks also to all the parents who supported the students on the day.

Term 2 Uniform

At the start of Term 2, all students will need to wear their Winter uniform.
