Grandparents Day
The school was a hive of activity on Friday morning for our Grandparents Day. Kindergarten impressed us by leading the Centred in Faith Gathering for our largest audience in a number of years. We then welcomed our Grandparents and special friends into the classrooms to provide us with their wisdom on how we can achieve our School Creed. The morning was finished with a morning tea hosted by Year 2. Thank you to Angela Padman and all the Year 2 families for your contribution to the morning tea.

Registration Standards and School Improvement
This week our school is participating in the Registration Standards and School Improvement process with a panel of 7 members of Catholic Education spending 2 days celebrating the school's successes and supporting us in finalising our strategic plan for the next 3 years. I would like to thank the staff for their preparation of this process and for showcasing the teaching and learning that is taking place in our classrooms. Catholic Education will be providing the school with feedback for distribution to our families in the coming months.
5/6W - Modular Classroom Update
On Friday last week, we received the keys to our modular classroom which will be home to 5/6W from the beginning of Term Two. You might note that we have adjusted our language to modular classroom rather than demountable as we tend to view demountables as old, used, temporary spaces, which our modular classroom is anything but. We look forward to having an opening of the modular classroom next term.
