BOOK WEEK Term 3

The annual Book Week is next term - August 19-25 in Week 6.

The children come to school on Monday 21 August, dressed as a BOOK character. They participate in a parade with the whole school at 9:00 am and parents and carers are welcome to attend. There is a week of activities to celebrate books, literature, reading, authors and illustrators. More exciting details to follow. We also have an author visit us and host workshops to inspire our minds and nurture hearts.

This year’s theme is: Read Grow Inspire.

I encourage the children to start thinking of their character to dress up as. The shops already have costumes in stock to purchase or you might like to spend time in the upcoming holidays creating your costume or getting the supplies you need.
